Didier Drogba

  • Showed last night that Di Matteo is just Terry and Lampard's Puppet.
And? The Terry/Lampard managing partnership seems to be working then, guessing the fans don't care

I still don't understand how kermorgant and drogba can be compared when it comes to diving. You telling me drogba would not have gone down holding his face if Beattie grabbed him by the throat.

And how is kermorgant always rolling around as if his in agony.

So you're all in favour of players having too much money/power?

But the "old brigade" can only go on for so long, then what? Oh yes, they'll buy up all the promising youngsters from other teams.

I hate this kind of behaviour, for feigning that elbow he should get a 10 match ban. FFS it is easy to cheat a ref, thank God most footballers don't cheat like Didier Dogshite.

I'd LOVE to see him sign for us (He never will of course). He's consistently been among the best, if not THE best strikers in the PL over the past near decade.

Interesting to see how the hated, despised and ridiculed 'old power guard' at Chelsea all scored last night. AVB as a manager was FUS

Think it was a competition last night on who could win oscar for best play acting. Drogba for once was totally warranted doing what he did, the Napoli players were diving & rolling around all over the place, what's good for the Goose & all that.

I enjoyed the match last night, good to see a bunch of players really care about their club, whoever it is. I,d rather see a player go back on the bench and shout instructions to his own players then sulking off to the changing room or just sit their looking indifferent.

If he was doing it for us it wouldn't be a problem. Kermorgant anyone?

    Have to agree with this.
I like Kermogant, but for a bloke of his build he does seem to spend a lot of time on the floor - which is the sort of thing that is accepted when he's on your team, but obviously not when it's an opposition player.

As for Drogba, think he'd still be first choice at the vast majority of Premier League clubs and get his fair share of goals.

I hate his cheating and play acting but my goodness when he wants to play football properly he is a great centre forward. At times he can be almost unplayable.

Agreed, I love him, despite his play acting, he is a show man and love his goal celebration, also was great on Graham Norton

Absolutely this. On his day, absolutely unplayable. Just cant stand the play acting. The kind of striker Spurs have been crying out for. No chance of him ever coming to us though.

I heard from a chelsea associate that drogba had calmed his "acting" down cos his kids were getting grief at school about it and they'd told him about it
Not sure how true that is , especially after his chelsea v barca performance but he may just play up midweek when the kids are in bed !

An awesome centre forward and very nice and pleasant guy to boot. He has done a lheck of a lot of work for charities and works in his homeland to improve many lives with the money he earns. I suspect that knowing how much he can earn in China or Paris appeals to his desire to share the wealth in Ivory Coast more than any perceived need to spend it on fast cars and mansions.

His play acting was irritating, but in a pantomime villainy kind of way. I for one will miss him from the PL, I just wish he'd joined a different club back in '04.

Well said Jimmy. He's making a real difference to the Ivory Coast and a lot of his earnings go over there.

Crystal Palace is currenlty trending because of him, there's a competition to win his shirt, you have to name the team he scored his first goal against!
