The stats are similar, obviously Tendulkar's are better, but having Dravid go in at three and patiently accumulate at the other end helped Tendulkar no end.
He was Yorkshires first overseas player when he was 16 I think so I am surprised a player of his quality hasn't hit a 100 first class hundreds by now.Unless of course hes played a lot more one day games.Either way well done Sir!
51 of his 100 is actually in tests - in recent years he has played very little first class cricket other than tests. To put the 51 in perspective the record for an Englishman is 22 by Wally hammond. However bothe Strauss and Cook should pass this as they are both on 19.
