Cyber Warriors

Did not want to demean the Muamba thread. Can anyone explain the joy cyber warriors get from posting negative, racist and generally hateful comments on stories like this. I don't mean on CL but stories and reports on the net , where people have left messages of sympathy only for filth to be added. I don't get it.

    It's the anonymity that gives them the thrill. Just read an interesting piece on the BBC website about Richard Bacon and the abuse he has had to suffer from a Cyber Troll.

    It's easy to say ignore them, but sometimes other peoples "opinions" can be quite damaging and psychologically scarring.

    Won't be linking the profile of the tweets I had the misfortune to read last night (they have probably since been removed) but they emanated from this particular absolute waste of oxygen. Hopefully he gets locked up as the content was absolutely horrifying.
