Chartered a sailing yacht in 1994 and remember Kefalonia as a great place . Only negative thing were some people on a restaurant's terras, laughing at us, when we had a bit of a problem with a scraping anker .

my mum goes kefalonia every year and recommended it tbh ticks all the boxes
hotel looks okay with B&B, no ai option - so limits the amount of northern football shirt wearers getting tanked up all day beaches nice pool enough restaurants to go somewhere different every night enough bars to visit - have looked at logos looks great and will certainly give it a go the flight is also good as in june any of the other greek islands you may get young ones going off on booze ups.
Kefalonia's lovely Fiskardo at the northern tip is the swanky yachting resort, good for a people watch Kefalonian meat pie is essential, peasant food so so tasty It's hilly and the roads can be twisty so if you've rented a tiny rentacar buzzbox, it'll be thrashing around in first gear a lot of the time. Also beware of goats - Kefalonia goat herds have no road sense at all Enjoy
