Not tears but found I had a bit of a croak when the missus got home and asked 'How did they do?'. A glass or three sorted it.0

I did whist doing the match thread after we scored,found it difficult to keep it together, so just let it out.....took a few moments then the match thread needed completing.0

I unfortunately couldn't make it today but i shed a tear because my friend who made it called me up just so i could listen to the chorus of valley Floyd road what a wonderful day what a wonderful moment in my life.0

I burst into years when Bradders scored, did so again at the final whistle when I knew we were promoted, thinking about my dad really and what I would have said to him.0

I did when we found out Weds FT was a draw. The commentator said on player "Charlton are promoted" and I burst into tears.
Having only followed Charlton for a short time this was my first promotion, so I'm very emotional and excited right now. I'm going to be a mess at Hartlepool when we get given that trophy.0 -

Yep, I must admit there was a little tear in my eye this afternoon when the Shef Wed result came in - watching it all unfold via SSN and on here with my 8yr old lad.0

I was listening to the game with SSN on mute, missus helpfully cleaning the fish tank out, not even realising she was in at times so focused on the football. I watched Sunnyhillboy lose by a hair and my winnings significantly reduced just as BWP scrambled it home, never before have i lost a race in a photo and seconds later be jumping up and down on my sofa waving a cushion above my head.
Just sat shaking like a leaf waiting for the Sheff Wed FT, soon as that was in i just stood in silence with my arms in the air thinking about the last few years and the amount of shit we've been through and all the depressing times, watching the pitch invasion on SSN. Definitely was a tear brewing at least.
My Grandad doesn't have long left at all, and he's the reason i'm Charlton, i'm just glad he got to see such a good day for Charlton once more.0 -

I was fine and then I saw a photo of the players celebrating and the person with the biggest smile was our own Chrissy. Just made me feel so proud and it brought back so many happy memories that a small tear of joy did appear0
