    Its an elite event now anyway.... not like back in the day when anybody could enter.

    It used to be an amateur event (that was the whole point).

    But I guess most if not all sportsman particpating in the Olympics are professional these days?

    Indeed, I think after Eddie the Eagle the rules of participation were changed

    I don't think he will be included. The other players being mentioned are a class above. The lowest ranked player I've heard about who is confirmed in the 80 is Nathaniel Clyne at Crystal Palace who has been getting lots of attention for the last year.
