Just spoke to Stadium Manager Rick Everett. Apparently the club are to soften their stance on this. Fans WILL be aloud on the pitch, but will need to at first complete and sign a Health and Safety disclaimer form held at pitchside by a team of friendly stewards (pens provided)0 -
the club for a laugh should ring the fa up and say they have a list of fans who went on the pitch and when reading give them there list we will give ours
or that we will be banning ourfans for a season and we will be watching closely to make sure reading ban thiers

If anyone runs on the pitch after all the warnings they deserve everything they will hopefully get. We all know that running on the pitch is not allowed so why do it? You can enjoy the occasion just as much in the stands and EVERYONE can enjoy it, not just those who think the rules don't relate to them. The pitch invasion at Reading certainly didn't look particularly safe, players could have been hurt in the crush. The rules are there for good reason and so the FA must be seen to uphold them. We don't want to go back to the pre-Hillsborough days.0

As I witnessed a bit of a free for all last Saturday at Carlisle will there be some semblance of order and good manners with women and children first this week?
Intermittent tannoy announcement is for women and children,
Continuous tanny announcement is for male adults.
