I wonder if those ridiculous (and possibly illegal) letters will be sent out before Palace away again this year.
    Pretty sure they wil be

"Palace and Millwall, we're coming for you !"

Will be good, but I've enjoyed all the new grounds visited over the last three years, had a quick look and I think there are only five or six new grounds for me next year.
probably end up being midweek brighton!
Hasn't this been the case for the last couple of years we've been in there league ? We had a summer friendly against them a couple of years ago, but I'm sure the last league game was a Tuesday night in December

Can I be the first to say that it is a pub league and that our away numbers are shocking/poor/s****.

Unfortunately I won't be the last.

Personally fancy trip to wolves, brighton, Forest, Leeds and a final promotion clinching weekend in Blackpool if they stay down.

I think that was partly because of the constraints of the Withdean, although I could be wrong. In League One we were among their biggest opposition, but in the Championship we'll be just one of clubs that will sell their full allocation.

Wolves ( relatives up there and great heritage ), Burnley ( mates up there ), Brighton ( in-laws and good beer in Lewes ) and Sheffield ( heritage and good beer - at least once and quite possibly twice ).

Coventry & Reading (new grounds) and Pompey (weekend on the I.O.W).
Reading have gone up, the other two teams will go down!

But none of them will be in the division next year?
  • Didn't Coventry go down yesterday?

What grounds are you looking forward to re-visiting in the championship? Barring the obvious choices of Millwall, Palace and westham (playoffs).

It's the King Power Stadium now. Yeah, I know - funny innit!

As opposed to the 'king awful "stadium" in Croydon!

Yes, really looking forward to all these new out of town stadiums (Brighton, Derby,Leicester,Bolton,Wigan) with no off-street parking and 15 min haikes from the nearest car park/side street. I wished we stayed down so we could play the old "traditional" stadiums (Exeter,Rochdale, Bury ) where you can park right outside & be away by 5pm !! ;)

There are so many midweek fixtures in the Championship, hoping we avoid Brighton and the northern teams on Tuesday's.

Hoping to get to the Amex, Elland Road, Turf Moor, Bloomfield Road, St Andrews, Molinuex and all of the London aways, plus a few others depending on times/work.
  • So if League 1 was a pub league to some , what will the Championship be called then? :-0

We will get Brighton on a midweek, they will avoid us playing west ham(if they stay down) and milwall on a Tuesday night like the plague. It will end up burnley on a mid week

Portsmouth always has a really good atmosphere - and Coventry should be a good fixture after our last few meetings!

Could be last chance to go to Fratton Park before the Club closes and I've not been to Doncaster so that is a must.

    what?!

You do realise that Reading are going to be a really hard team to beat.
  • brighton for me
i went to see brighton vs watford, wanted to checkout the new stadium and afraid to say i was incredibly disappointed, one stand looks fantastic but the other three seriously look non-league, the design of it looked really bad.
