Bit arrogant to say the least. Fantastic every other word. Take a leaf out of SCP mate, bit of humility. You've done nothing yet.

Having to laugh at the bloke from Millwall talking about how they're trying to be more family friendly.

They didn't read out my question to Freedman: "Is it true that Dougie was an extra in Trainspotting?"

I only caught the last 10 minutes and must have missed the 'arrogance' of freedman. Did catch the love in though with bright (also employed by palace). Unless they sign new players I can see palace struggling next season. I don't 'hate' them but it would be nice to see them in league 1 for a while.

I hope we relegate them again, they deserve a spell in League One.

Best bit last night was Brighty making himself look like a prize plum and annoying all AFC Wimbledon fans, by twice calling them MK

Only caught the end of the programme but Freedman was saying how each season they want to take a small step forward. They will develop youth and be sensible with finances. Building a foundation for the future was the key whether he remained as manager or not.

So he wants to float in the championship and avoid admin buy selling up and coming young players to big clubs like Leicester and Wigan?

So what Charlton did in the 90s then. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. They'll be running a coach services for fans in Kent next.

  • Fancy Palace to struggle next season. Always think it's a good idea to look at a League Table from Jan-May and see who's at the bottom.
Reckon Palace would be in the Championship one and can see them losing a couple of their better young players and not replacing them.
Millwall on the other hand are finishing the season on a bit of a high and if they sign, Keogh, could do okay next season?

To be honest it is the way most clubs should be run. Read between the lines though and it means no money to improve the squad. I would place Palace and Derby as two of my bottom three next year.

Millwall have finished well after being very close to relegation but that has been based on loan players such as Kane.

If they can keep him and Keogh they will have done very well. WSS has said on another thread that we and half the Championship have enquired about Kane while Keogh may well be wanted back at Wolves now they have gone down.

Hard time ahead for the Spanners and Nigels. The natural order of life in South London is about to be restored.

That was funny! Unless Brighty was unconsciously trying to relegate MKD...

I don't the Freedman hatred here, he was saying how Palace are run now, bringing through young players, and accepting the reality that one or two will be sold from time to time, which sounds very level headed when compared with some managers who demand a massive transfer budget and throw their toys out of the pram if they have to sell anyone, irrespective of the financial realities of the club. Palace have always had a good youth setup, indeed they've probably produced more players than we have (isn't Sir Chris Powell a former Palace youth product?)

You know, I know and most importantly they know that our historic superiority is about to be re-asserted.

And they have hardly lorded it. Yes, they have had a good laugh at our misfortune but what have they achieved in the past three years? Another Administration, lower crowds than us, mid table finishes and not much more.

They have both had a great chance to pull away from us but have failed to take it. Sooner or later we will be in a higher division than one or both again just as we have for most of league history.

The only question is whether that will be because we have been promoted again or they have been relegated. Or both.
  • Keogh may well be wanted back at Wolves now they have gone down.

Sadly they have signed him permanently.
