I was talking to my kids last night, one was saying that Southampton only sing 'When the Saints go marching in...' and that it is a rubbish song. I told them that back in the day we used to sing 'When the reds go marching in...'.
I haven't heard this for years at The Valley, should we resurrect it for the Hartlepool game?
If so boys n girls, any other retro songs could we do?
How about 'You are my Charlton, my only Charlton..etc?

    Knees up Mother Brown used to be great on the terraces in the old covered end, everyone singing and jumping up and down, then the inevital surge forwards. Never be allowed now but as far as I know, nobody ever got hurt!

    Said this month or so back, easier to sing & I think the Yann Kermogant seems almost inaudible at the end (possibly a few people still der derring ;-) ) I think a lot more would join in & it would sound a lot louder even if the same number sang as sing the current der der der & fully deserving of taking on Super Clives song !!!!
