We are waiting for West ham to muck up the playoffs but what a season it is going to be?

When was the last time all our local rivals were in the same division?

6 Big london derbies, will probably go to all of them... I think the 12/13 season will live long in the memory.

Can west ham flopping in the playoff. Think birmingham will win the playoffs
  • Nice close grounds but the only two that REALLY matter are Millwall and Palace.

Other decent fixtures like brighton and maybe QPR but Millwall Palace and west ham are the main ones.

Anyone know the last time the four clubs were in the same division? derby after derby

When someone can produce knowledge like that, no one is surprised to see that his name is Adrian.

Blushing with pride , so here's more info:
We were in Div2, 22 teams. Fulham and Orient were also there. Bad year for us, finished 19th. Here's the results, home first:

    Palace 1-1/ 0-1. They finished champions;
    Westham 0-0/0-2. Finished 5th
    Fulham 0-0/1-3. Finished 10th
    Orient 0-2/1-2. Finished 11th
    Millwall 2-4/2-0. Finished bottom

Adrian - that was one poor season. Only worsened by the following year went we went down as Champions. The worst defence we have ever had. Managed only four points away from home all season! The bar for next year isn't very high! In our first year back after promotion from League One in 81-82 we finished 12th, so that's what I think we need to be aiming for although expectations of the current Board may be higher than Michael Gliksten's.

Brighton on on a nice March April Saturday would be nice, given we have lost Bournemouth.

Stevenage could even be joining the 'London' clubs next season...
Dont' write them off winning the playoffs just yet...

Can't help thinking that it will be a harder season for us with all the Derby's to be played.

Qpr looking more and more likely to go down... 4 -0 down after 25 mins against Chelsea... Torres looking like his old self...
  • Would be a great league if qpr come down aswell all those London derbys fixtures at Xmas and newyear should be easy to work out

Middlesboro away and hull at home it will be then 8+)

In an ideal world, i'd love Villa to come down too, but I reckon it'll be QPR and Blackburn (both with the hardest fixtures).

According to Mullery's autobiography ,he approached Glikstein because he wanted to sign Archie Gemmill and David Mccreary in a bid to reach the top flight and Glickstein told him not to attempt it because Charlton was only a 2nd tier club.
