Just got back from a really enjoyable evening at the Valley. Great to meet so many Lifers and the players.

Was packed out and Ravi from the Club said it was the best in his time here. Thanks to him and all the staff but biggest thank you to @Curb_it for all the organisation and hard work. I hope the cuddle from Morrision made it all worthwhile.

Paul Hayes was great and when he found out my son's name was also Hayes he said he'd get him one of his match worn shirts from his car later. When he was leaving he reminded me and asked if I'd follow him to get the shirt which he duly handed over. Nice touch from a nice guy.

I have some photos I'll stick up later as have others. Sure there will be some other gossip too. Taylor and Morrison were really impressed that their shirts had been auctioned to help the upbeats and there will be some other really good prizes coming up as a result of tonight.

I think it's evenings like this that make Charlton Life that little bit different and special.

C Walsh's love child had a baby kit and as he asked Waggy to sign it Curb-it asked "Whose kit is that?" to which as quick as a flash Wagstaff answered "Solly''s".

All the players are so young and so slim. Barstards!

FFS Large, do you have to moan especially when you've already been given the info?

Fun evening, fun thread, let's keep it that way

Great evening. Great company. Scott Wagstaff and Calum Harriot were supurb hosts . Thanks to Curb-it for organising everything. If there was any gossip I didn't get to hear it. Although SCP was asked if Pixie Lott was singing on Saturday and he said 'who's she'.

Great evening - all very positive news and some fantastic characters in the team.

The only downside I heard, was that Cantona was attracting interested from the SPL, so let's give him plenty of support on Saturday and make him want to stay with us.

Be assured that we are going for 101 points too - no question about it.

As Yann said to me..."sank you for your support".. he's going nowhere.

Morrison... wibble. Thanks f blocker for bringing him over.

All I can reiterate is that Wagstaff is a flipping lovely young man. Great company.

We didn't get any gossip. Lots of pics and lots of happy faces.

Been to quite a few SS evenings but this was the best bunch of players I've ever had the fortune to meet.

And to nab the Captain's shirt too....what a lucky girl am I !

Thanks again to Curb_it for all her hard work in organising the sponsorships. She's a star !
  • I have just got home and what a bloody good night. Pictures are being uploaded as I type

Is that Hollands who's being blocked out of three photos lol poor sod!
  • FINALLY................sollys kit signed (with my shoe so you can gauge for yourself his actual size)
  • RIght, cracking night, got a bit merry but sobered up as the night went on. Great to see some people I havent seen for a while.
Also it seems that a few of the players and family check this site quite often to see the fans view on how things are.
Most popular comment was "who are you lot slagging off this week?"
    Bed time
