Powell and Cort nominated

Nominated for League 1 manager and player of the month for April.
Llera also in player running - and his goals will no doubt see him get it.
Be interesting to see if Powell wins the manager award. He's up against Dave Jones. Sheff Weds have the same record as us but we've won promotion and the league in April.

Players: Llera (Sheff Weds), Grella (Bury), Cort (Charlton).

Managers: Robinson (MK Dons), Jones (Sheff Weds), Powell (Charlton).

    Can't see anyone other than Powell getting it - thankfully, it's too late for that curse to do any damage.

    Always thought Llera was a good honest pro and he's been knocking them in recently so I hope he gets the player award.

    Jones deserves it for the improvement he's made there with the same players.

    It's good to see Cort get recognition, as he'e been excellent since coming in, an excellent signing.

    But we clinched prmotion and the title in April, it was over the course of the season that it was won. I think Jones will get it, Wednesday had the harder games than us and the pressure really was on them given Utd's lead over them.

    Cort has been immense anyone who understands football will know that Cort has been bar far the best defender for that period the amount of clean sheets from when he came in was amazing, i cant think of a Central defender vwho we have had that performed as good at the intensity and manor in which he did

    Neither won. Jones and Llera did, which seems fair enough. Have to spread the awards around so the smaller teams get a chance : - )

    I'm sure a champions medal and manager of the year will ease the pain.

    Obviously 4 wins, 3 clean seats and a draw plus sealing promotion and champions doesn't count for much. Although I'm sure he'll settle for manager of the year.

    I also would have put Hamer above Cort personally but then I guess Llera is better than all our players anyway.

    13/15pts played 13/15pts. Arguably it was Alexander's last minute equaliser last weekend that cost Powell the manager of the month award. Oh well.
