Perhaps one big factor taht has been overlooked was the sale of Carl Jenkinson, last season he went from the BSP to Charlton to boo boy when he refused to sign a new contract. The money that Arsenal paid seems to have helped Charlton acquire a better class of player and add a bit more depth to our squad.

Might have been something I wrote, Yanntheman as I was fortunate to have his company at dinner last Sunday before he was spirited away by his many fans.
Sorry if it's been said before but, he , his wife and young son love it in London ( as opposed to Leics) and will look to buy a house if his contract is extended. He is very much looking forward to playing against hhis old Club and to showing his detractors there what he can do . Mentioned also his dream debut at Bramall Lane and said he's not looked back...
Yann had a good appetite ( although says he has to be careful what he eats) and polished off his dinner with gusto and it's obvious that he also has a great appetite for his football at Charlton.
