does anyone remember the guy that use to have the pineapple hair.

    Was a youth player and made a handful of first team appearances around 89/90. Not sure if he went direct to Forest from Charltpn but I remember him playing at the Valley for them and scoring the winner: sod's law !

    He game back in 97 on loan for a brief period. Won a lot of headers in opposition penalty box, and a lot of hearts in the covered end.

    If I remember right, when he came to us on loan he'd got rid of the 'pineapple' and cropped his hair.

    Was let go because we had Leaburn. Went to the lower leagues (southend I think) and worked he way back up.

    I think he held a club record for the longest time between his debut and his first goal. Until that record was broken a couple of seasons ago

    Erm no.
    He never gave up at all. In fact he's managing now. The pineapple looks more like an ordinary apple these days though.
