Cant stand the royals, why should i celebrate the descendants of the biggest thugs of 400 years ago - let them go out and do a proper/real job. Me, i'm off out away for that week, sailing in the Med, stuff the Jubilee or whatever it is they are celebrating. Olympics, now thats a different matter, once in a lifetime, if people cant put up with some travel discomfort for a few weeks then there is something wrong with them. This. I am patriotic, but will be giving this a miss. Spent the royal wedding sitting by Bassenthwaite Lake having a few beers. Will spend the jubilee weekend chugging round the Norfolk Broads, having a few beers, but the family will be with me this time, so flags and bunting seem likely.
