According to the Match Day Magazine .. Omar Pousso was the first Urugyan to represent Charlton.

I know Sorondo was bad but hey ....

    What is their wording?

    You could argue that he is "the first Charlton player to have come from Uruguay" in that he is probably the first player we've signed from a Uruguayan club.

    They said the first Uruguayan to play for Charlton .....

    They probably meant "first Uruguayan to represent Charlton in the League Cup"...but cocked it up!
