I know it's always boring to tip the favorite, but I can't see past Camelot for the Derby. In fact I saw William Hill offering 5/1 that Camelots winning margin is 5 lengths of greater, so think I might have a nibble on that.

  • I'm on my way there! I know nothing about horses though so I'm going to bet on just about anything that comes up in this thread

Ladbrokes were giving away £10 notes between 9.00 and 9.30 this morning, if you put a £20 bet on Camelot at 1-2, if it lost you got your money back. No Brainer.

Katherine Jenkin's tips were nearly out there...great moment as they finished interviewing her...before it cuts back to Clare Balding & Willie Carson, you can hear Little Willie saying "fake tan"...don't think that's the name of a horse!!! ;-)

Fook me, I backed a faller in the first. :-(

Screens are up, don't tell me they're going to put the jockey down.

It's not the first time, I do remember having one go down in the derby many years ago.

Was there today, no luck and quite a few uncouth people. Still a good day out celebrating my mates 40th though.

Yeah, I backed the faller in the first as well, much to all my mates amusement.

Is it all about Australia in the next 15 minutes? Think he & Geoffrey Chaucer could give O'Brien a 1-2 this year.
