    Well Done Denmark....
  • What a result!
  • RVP is having a shocker
You wouldn't believe it's the same bloke that scored for fun last season.
I think it was Hugh Lawrie playing Lord Percy

Good game. Denmark were outstanding defensively. Anderson is a MOTM contender with a couple of great saves bar that moment of madness with that pass to Robben.

And Rommedahl had a strop at being substituted which I thought was very unlike him.

Well done Denmark played as a team, Dutch are a team of individuals. Group of Death now looks interesting.

Absolutely loving the football at Euro 2012 so far. Not a dull game yet.

    Andersen?

Good keeper, but was hardly a regular under the previous regime.

Spain turned in the same performance against the Swiss at the world cup and went on to win it. Suppose the only difference is they didn't have Germany and Portugal in their last two group games. What makes the euros so different.

I found the build ups nerve wrecking in our defence.
Especially in the 1st half. Far too dangerous, the passing between the keeper and defenders.
The amount of times where I yelled 'just kick the effing ball far up field, Stephan'...
Also at one stage lead to the Robben shot, which hit the post.
But I knew that if we weathered the storm, we would be in with a chance.
Would have been in ecstasy, if we'd got a point out of this.
Can't believe we won the game!!!! A hangover has never felt this good.

It was all a bit like the Alamo at the end wasn't it. Always had a lot of time for the Danish side going back to Simmo's time with us so well pleased for them. Denmark remind me of us, no one really fancies them but they are always better than the sum of their parts with a little bit of quality thrown in from time to time too. Enjoy the group table!

Hang on a minute....you get up Sunday morning and watch football for breakfast. And then Sunday evening you have a hangover!

Exactly when and how did this hangover arise? It seems to me you must either have been pre-celebrating on Saturday or just assuming a hangover Monday morning.

Congrats to our Danish contingent !

Very impressed with The two centre halves, Agger in particular.

Game started 2am. Me and the neighbour decided to start early (8pm).
A lot of drinking can be fit into an 8 hour slot (I fell asleep before the Germany v Portugal game).
I even enjoyed the luxury of drinking Tuborg Gold!
  • Lucky you stayed off the Elephants or you would probably have missed the main event as well.

I feel asleep during the Germany v Portugal game - I did make the pretence of watching it in bed, though.

Elephants. Forgot about them. Now that's a great idea for the Portugal game.

Those big fans of the Dutch, the Germans, reported the result in one of their newspapers:

    Legoland defeat Egoland!
