It feels like I'm on a blind date, waiting for her to turn up.
  • Good luck everyone, stuck in the office still so it's an apology from me.

Look forward to seeing some material up here to digest afterwards.

First rule of Charlton Supporters Trust is you cannot talk about the Trust.

Really though, Razil was superb. Still very early doors, but it has been agreed we would like to form a trust in one form or another to protect our club, to protect CAFC for future generations.

Not an awful lot more to add at this stage, watch this space.

Good news that the process started and things moved forward. Well done Razil and co.
  • Well done to all involved.

As i am working nights atm i can't make any midweek meetings. But as soon as that changes i hope to be actively involved

I fully appreciate everyone is keen to be involved and to know what went on, however one of the main things agreed was that although the meetings are public and open we won't at this stage be publishing reams of notes of detailing everything single thing that was said at this stage. If you can dig out the minutes etc to the last attempt to form CAST this can give you a good idea of the sort of things that were discussed.

I will try and put out a statement with brief minutes soon however.

    Thanks

    BR

Please pop in and see the headmaster at some point this morning...

Well chaired meeting, and a good consensus.......
Come on guy's we all support Charlton let's participate in this to make it work for the future of the club, for future fan's.
I appreciate that those living a distance from the club cannot attend meetings, but there are a lot of people with some excellent skills, and hopefully will step up to the mark. Come on ladies do not be shy 1 female last night, this needs to be inclusive not exclusive...........

People will get involved, if they know what they're getting involved with?

most discussions centred around the decor and carpet, and it turned out the guvnor was a Charlton fan

Correct...... that is why the details have not been posted.
So why not come along next time, and help formulate /participate to move this forward.

I'll join as a member and support it financially, but I always prefer to leave meetings to people who like meetings.

Which is probably the view of most people on this site, personally speaking I do not 'like meetings', but I tell you what if you live in Falconwood, I will pick you up, take you to the next meeting, buy you a drink, and tell you about Johnny Marr, and my mate who took the photo of the famous Smiths shot outside the Salford lads club.
And give you my copy of the said photo......
    Is it a deal........
