How Much to Buy Charlton?

Had a bit of a spring clean at the weekend and found a few dollars down the back of the old sofa, so I was wondering realistically how much would it cost to buy Charlton these days?

Now I don't mean wiping out the debt, rather just maintaining the current repayment structure etc. How much would it cost 10m? 20m?.

£2 was the price Baton paid two years ago.

"Nominal sum" paid 18 months ago.

But check the small print for debts you have to take on

That depends on whether you buy the club and honour its debts or wait until the club goes into administration and most of them are wiped out...

It depends on how much yu want to buy it and how much the owners want to sell. The club is like the players. They are all happy at charlton but would all move if the price is right.

Nice to see some have pretty much accepted our inevitable doom already. That's the spirit!

Out of interest if you won £100 mill on the lottery would you make a donation of sort to the club in the knowledge the whole amount would be spent on a player(s), or something else perhaps?

if you won 100 mil why would you give it to anyone (other than CAST of course) you could buy the club and keep it going for a few years very easily

I'd buy my way onto the board at the club if I won the Euromillions. I used to think I'd just donate some money and let the board get on with it, on the basis that I don't know anything about running a club, but recently I've decided that if I had the money I'd want to see where it was being spent.
