I really have grown to hate heavy weight boxing. aside from the klitschkos, its full of complete bellends. i cant stand either of these two "fighters".
The pantomime of it all, the media hype, the pay per view with no guarantees, the gullible fans and the amount of money those two pricks will be getting from it all is disgusting.
David Price is a class act.

    No real interest in this.

How's that Tyson Fury doing? He's raw but has the physique at least to go all the way.

Now Tyson Fury is one over hyped boxer, he will never achieve anything - against a top draw heaveyweight he will come up short. He bottled it when David Price offered him a fight and gave up his belt!!!!

Disagree, I thought he fought well last week. Seems to have lost some of the timber he was carrying, his footwork has improved and was the best I have seen from him! I would like to see him do well, dodgy moniker though!

As a genuine fan of Boxing I couldn't care less what happens in this fight. Both of them are a disgrace to the game., neither are any good Chisora is a thug and Haye can only talk. Best result would be the two of them disappear into the obscurity they so wholly deserve.
    Well said

I'd go along with that. I would say Haye was a good cruiserweight, but never a decent heavyweight. He's embarrassed the whole sport by giving Audley Harrison a world title shot, his pathetic performance against Klitschko and now this made up grudge fight. This is not proper boxing - it's a tv show.

Really disappointed with what David Haye has become.

Totally agree especially with what Haye has become.

At Cruiserweight he displayed some excellent performances. But as heavyweight he came in and beat up a few bums early on and then just thought long reigning champions would be intimidated by his lack of respect.

As for this fight, I will be watching as I'd love Chisora to get hammered.

Love how Millwall 'follow' Haye for being a Millwall fan when he was a West Ham fan at school!
Lads who went to school with him have always said he was Millwall. I thought he was Arsenal though.

went on soccer am claiming to be arsenal

That whole toe thing was very Arsenal - so makes sense.
  • Was a good article/ interview in the standard the other night with Froch and his thoughts on this weekend's pantomime. and the differences between them as men (in th public domain) are remarkable.

Used to really like Haye but lost a lot of respect for him in the lead up, during and aftermath of the Klitschko fight. The toe excuse was embarrassing.

Have got nothing but utter respect for Froch as a fighter and the bloke he comes across as.

    Am going.

Hope Haye smashes him...Always thought he was Arsenal but as someone said plays up to the whole Millwall thing. No problems with that though.

  • Don't care what happens to these two clowns, they are a disgrace. At the 'Press Conference' at Upton Park I think it was, these two glared at each other and acted as though it was a case of 'hold me back, I'm gonna kill him'. They had 1 section of 7 foot steel fence separating them, just couldn't work out how to walk round it and have a go!

Used to love watching the heavyweight division for many a year....it's now become a sham and a complete bloody circus more akin to pro wrestling.
I won't be watching and I hope all you 'true' boxing fans wont cough up so much as a single penny to watch this diabolical charade.
  • I'm going. We so rarely get big fights in the UK that I try to go to them all - a few beers with mates, and the atmosphere should be electric.

Can't say I'm a fan of why this fight is happening or either of them to be honest, but should be a good night.

As is the case with a lot of Hayes fights there has been a lot of trash talk. I can't see beyond haye winning it though and I dont think it will go beyond 6 rounds whacked a score on haye to win by ko/tko 6/5 with paddy
