Cheap long term parking at Heathrow

I note some of you lucky people are off to some sunny spots.
This NCP site offers cheap parking at Heathrow - eg 8 days in August for £35, plus the usual hoppa bus fares - £4.50 each way to the terminals

That is a good price Art. I've used Purple Parking before but I don't think they can match that even when you take the bus fare into account.
BTW, under an agreement with BAA, London buses are free to use within the LHR site - a little known fact! Here's the map:

Another option I have used is one-way car rental. Alamo do something called "Airport Connect" which can work out cheaper and more convenient than airport parking if you're on, say, a two-week break.

My wife and I tend to try and stay a night at the Hotel the night before our holiday and incorporate the parking into that. This also means we have an extra days holiday and it's just more fun
