For me the name Jackie Monahan means as much as names like John Humphrey, Bob Bolder and Peter Shirtliff when it comes to my early Charlton experience, an experience which has addicted me for life.     Jackie did a lovely piece on my boy for the programme after I signed him up with the Junior Reds at two days old.

    She was a lovely lady and was one of those stalwards of the dark days at Sellout that you always knew we'd get back home eventually. We all just seemed to be a small tight knit family.

    Oh dear, so many much loved people seem to be passig on this year. Again my son was a Junior Red at Selhurst with a story similar to those above. Saw her many times at Selhurst and she always had time for a chat. Our thoughts are with her family. RIP.

    Sad news though it is how pleasing to be able to remember and celebrate the contribution of one very special member of the Addicks family.

    Thanks for letting us know Suthers. Very sad news. I used to see Jackie all the time in the Selhurst days as I only lived round the corner. I was involved with the Charlton lottery and I think Jackie was the promoter? (Long time ago) and i used to drop in takings and pick up more cards to sell. She was always a happy smiling face whenever I saw her and it is a great loss to Charlton. Condolences to all her family and friends on the loss of a lovely lady.

    Very sad new, my youngest daughter was a member of the Junior Reds at Selhurst and later at the Valley, she always appreciated the work Jackie put in and loved the Christmas parties. Condolences to all Jackies family.
