One for the future?

One week ago today my little man Alpha John Toogood was born 3 weeks early weighing in at 6lbs 1oz. Here he is with his first Charlton kit which Daddy managed to get signed from SCP.

I wanted to call him Charlton R Toogood but the wife was having none of it!

Can I ask about thr name Alpha? Is that like the Italian tradition of calling the first son Primo?

Hi Henry, We wanted something a little different yes a bit like the Italian he is the first son and it also has other meanings that we liked....
‎1. The first letter of the Greek alphabet.
2. The first one; the beginning.
3. Astronomy The brightest or main star in a constellation.
4. The dominant person or animal in a group the alpha male.
5. The future Charlton Athletic and England captain.

Amongst others.
