Or where is David should I say?
Someone will probably prove me wrong but I can honestly say I've not seen any TV coverage of him at any of the events.
I'm sure theyr'e there somewhere but the Beeb certainly aren't going OTT in showing their faces on the box.
Strange when you come to think of it, knowing how the media love showing off a bit of 'demorange of glitterati' once in a while.

    No, he wouldn't.

    He said it was a lot of effort for him to come back and forth for the build up to the ceremony, where he had a big part to play. No need for him to be here probably until the Closing.

    Ermm BFR....I honestly don't give a damn whether he's shown/there or not....just thought it strange that after he was seen as one of the main movers and shakers in winning the Olympic bid that he's been conspicuous in his absence......speaking for myself, I couldn't care less but am just aware that it's the case and thought it a bit strange.

    the BBC have enough of their own cameras there too, trained on GB athletes etc

    Saw him & 3 sons at wembley in the UAE game, so the cameras weren't covering him even when Prince William was in the next seat... He wasn't covered too.

    They are only there for the interviews, presenters etc but are not allowed to show the action.

    And yes, he played for LA the other day, setting up Galaxy's only goal in 5-1 thrashing .

    actually quite amazing how well known Becks is over here in probably the biggest 'soccer' backwater in the Western world....although the impending MLS arrival of Lloyd Sam might change all that

    I think Beckham is a brilliant man. Wish we had been good enough to sign him for just one season in the premiership days instead of that Rommedahl fella.
