bover's got all the things youd expect from a spanish midfielder, still not sure hes strong enough for the first team though. hayes (one of the worst free kicks ive seen in a while aside) showed some good touches, i thought you could tell he was a more experienced pro, rest of the team energetic, muggeridge at right back very good on the ball, confident going forward and pacy, but the real reason i wanted to write this...

clarke is without a shadow a doubt the biggest old load of horse shit i've ever seen play for us. lazy, slow, ponderous on the ball, he is quite simply shit. i have no idea how he actually gets paid to play football, every time the ball went to him hed lose it - one instance he had hayes inside muggeridge on the outside or room to shoot, but dallied on the ball and got tackled. as the bloke next to us said, hed struggle to get a game at this level. sooner we get rid the better, why we're turning down bids i dont know. a charlton suit in the directors box (yes they have one believe it or not) was dissapointed, quote "i hope any scouts werent watching that game"

Clarke was very poor and didn't look interested. Jordan & Muggeridge had good games. Collin (who scored the winner) turned down a pro contract with Hartlepool to stay with Tonbridge

Clarke scored 9 goals for a struggling Chesterfield blah blah blah so imagine what he could do in a team doing well ..

We didn't get to see the worm, but the was a rendition of 'oh johnnie Jackson runs down the wing for me' before Hayes stepped up for his conversion.

Didn't watch much of the game, spent most of it in the bar chatting as know people from both sides. Frannie Collin for Angels is quality at Conference South level but not convinced he could cut it much above that, so is Angels' keeper Lee Worgan who I think probably could.
