...was wondering what you Canadian lifers have for and pay for internet/tv etc? I think that I could get it cheaper and would love some ideas. I currently use Shaw for Telephone and internet. The internet is high speed (not super high speed but quick enough for what I use it for) and the telephone gets me calls back to the uk and long distance for 4c per minute. I pay around $65 before the cost of long distance calls. I have Shaw Direct for television (formerly Star Choice) and pay $75 per month for absolute shite TV (sorry Canada but the TV is shite). I have to pay that as I like watching the hockey, football and my wife wants HBO for that awful hillbilly vampire show. The cost will go up when I include the sportsnet package that will show Charlton tonking Palace live in glorious HD. The TV will then go up to around $100 per month. What do you guys have? Any ideas how to get the cost down?
