Was reading about Alex Zanardi competing in the Paralympics:

An absolutely unbelievable story and what a man!

Got me thinking this could be a good place to post any stories anyone else reads about the paralympic athletes. Should be some brilliantly inspirational stories to be read.

No inspirational stories but am looking forward to going to the disability soccer at the hockey stadium

great story. these guys are the real heroes, not the able bodied and football 'stars'.

Good article here about a few injured ex-service people and also the excellent charities that help them to get into sport after being injured.
