Hopefully he'll keep scoring so they will be begging us to make it perm in Jan
  • I hope the lad can kick start his career again. Good luck to him. Just didn't work out for us.
  • Hopefully he will keep banging them in, get his value up and then we can sell him to someone for a rip off price!!!!!!!

Why could he not score for us is the question on my mind.

Probably because he only made one start. He didn't look great for us but he also hardly got any game time. I reckon if he'd started a few more games he would have got on the scoresheet

Thats my thinking mate and also,If he was not a CP signing as has been suggested on here then how much pressure would he have been under knowing he was not wanted by the manager.
  • He simply has to be a better player than he ever looked for us. Otherwise he would never have made the grade as a professional footballer.

Pleased for him. Would be happy to see him do well. If so, whatever Chris decides to do, we should win...either a decent transfer or refreshed player back in goal-scoring form for him to work on.
  • Was completely unaware of his goal until I read about it on here.

I have deliberately refused to look at div one results or tables this season for the simple, joyous reason that I NO LONGER HAVE TO!!!!

Anybody else had a similar reaction, or am I a freak?

I've tried to keep a healthy level of respect for L1 as I remember feeling like we were a forgotten club down there despite it being a decent league. Not been completely able to pay attention to it though as I break out in a sweat just thinking about the time we spent at our lowest ebb. Glad I'm not the only one

I look out for Orient, Sheff U and, a division lower Bradford
  • I'm with Garrymanilow. It's a tough competitive league and our best memory in recent years was destroying it so I've got no hate for League one
  • Hes got talent just doesnt seem to settle! Wasnt given any time realy so bit off to judge so harshly? But maybee his attidude at training could be one reason? Maybee thinks hes better than the club? But every one seems shift him on.
