  • Is Hatton his real name, or is it a nick name as he always has a hat on?
  • Oh dear, he should hang up his gloves.

What weight is he fighting at?

    Could be the shortest heavyweight!
  • Dear oh dear. Don't do it Ricky.
  • The last days of Tyson all over again.
  • Don't see the big problem, he'll earn a few bob and worst comes to worst he'll get knocked out. Easy money
  • Not gonna end well.
  • Probably knows he could still make a shed load from fighting Amir Khan and always have a punchers chance against old glass jaw
  • His not fat at present, very slim even now well before camp
  • stay way from kell brook, that man would take him out quick and brutally

  • Only doing it to show off his new tattoo probably.
  • Good luck to him, he won't fight khan or brook in a million years.

It will be someone like katsidis, n'dou, possibly mallignaggi

  • Does anyone ever believe it these days when a boxer announces his retirement?
  • Must be skint
  • Typical Macunian, always looking to start a fight........................
  • Bank needs a top up, this wont be a fight worth watching
  • Don't think he will fight Khan, they are good friends.
  • Feud with David Haye in 10, 9, 8...

Even though Brook had a hard time against Ricky's little bruvver ?. Hatton is not absolute top drawer like Merryweather or Manny Whatsit .. but he is a natural, loves a fight and is scared of nobody. I'd fancy him to beat Brook .. However, the consensus seems to be that Hatton R is now too naturally heavy to fight at welter .. super welter or middleweight might be more his mark nowadays with the attendant risk that punches from top middleweights land a whole lot heavier than those from a top welterweight
