You approach two talking doors. One door leads to the City of Truth, while the other door leads to the City of Liars. You do not know which door is which. You are able to ask only one question to determine which door is which. The door that leads to the City of Liars always speaks lies, while the door that leads to the City of Truth always speaks the truth. You want to go to the City of Truth. What question do you ask to determine which door leads to the City of Truth
Many a theory, some say its for symmetry, some say its because IV is what Jupiter was shortened to (its a quarter to God didnt sit well with some) and others say it was to simplify the clock making system as you would have even pairs of every symbol, so moulds etc could be half the size and doubled up
I'm able to run, yet I will not walk Though I have a mouth, never will I talk. While I have a bed I'm not known to sleep I do have a bank with no funds to keep.
I am so tiny you can hardly see me.I’m a recorder of action and priority.It might take a few of me to impart what I know,but that depends if you read fast or read slow.
Every clock face made with roman numeral numbers has a very obvious but deliberate mistake, what is it? And why?
IIII instead of IV for 4... - 3 theories, a French king, Louis (can't remember the number, there's too bl**dy many of Louises over there!) determined this as a matter of fashion and symmetricality, the original Romans didn't use IV as 4 but IIII as the former is too much like their god, Jupiter (IVPITER) or there was a typesetting problem whilst creating moulds for clocks! Any more theories out there?!

Ask either of the doors if they are a door? If you happen be be asking the door that leads to the City of Truth it will say 'yes', if you happen to be asking the door that leads to the City of Liars it will say 'no'.
You know both are doors so if the door says 'Yes' it leads to the City of Truth and if the door says 'No' then you need to go through the other door.
if this is wrong, can you just threaten them with a chainsaw?

Then do the opposite of whichever one they point to. I think. Assuming talking doors can point.
Maybe in case you quickly look in the mirror? IV V VI could confuse?

A man shaves several times a day, yet he still has a beard.
Who is this man?

I can bring tears to your eyes;
resurrect the dead,
make you smile,
and reverse time.
I form in an instant but I last a life time.
What am I?
