morning all,

ive just had my boiler serviced (it passed btw) and once the engineer finished he just collected his things, said goodbye and left. no mention about payment.

am i missing something. im sure you have to pay for these sort of things, like a car service. am i going to expect a letter through the door soon about the fee to be paid?

im not complaining. i havent got a penny to my name till next week!!

cheers

Ive got the home care from British Gas,boiler broke down badly and they fixed it,what it would have cost was horrendous. Also get service every year and had five or six minor breakdowns. All covered by plan.

If you're renting I think this is a landlord responsibility.

It is - but they should have left at least a Gas Safety certificate.

Gas saftey cert has to be done annually - get on to your landlord if he hasn't had it done - his responsibility.
