All he has had to do all season is finish a one on one with the keeper - TWICE - and he cocks it up!!

Exactly - see my other comment at end of game.

It was made for him by sounds of it. The most important kick of the season and he cocks it up - typical Lisbie - waste of space - better off with Kish up front!

    it was a feeble effort

surely Gislason, Walker, someone is better than this turnip

not quite as bad as kanu a few years back but pretty dam bad, esp the way we played in the second you thought we'd finish it off, then realised it was lisbie

No it wasnt. Cut inside (only thing he could do) and the defender got back at him. 2nd was a snapshot

Lets be honest. Theres only one player that you would have expected to finish it and thats Darren.

Im not defending him but neither JFH nor Marcus would have got in that position in the first place.

Don't be too hard on SuperKev.....he's only young and a great prospect.

In answer to the question in the topic, I'd say "Significantly less then JFH". At least I hope so.
  • To be fair, I thought Kev made a big difference when he came on. He rattled Shittu with a few prodigious leaps to win headers he had no right to win. Dan is right, he did all he could with the first shot and the keeper made a good save. The second was an instinctive snapshot that just shaved the outside of the post. Let's not get too greedy. We played well 2nd half but we were dreadful in the 1st half. We should be grateful to get out of there with our last minute equaliser. Anything else would probably have been undeserved.

The second shot was the one he probably should have put away but he thrashed at it and it went wide.

All in all, could probably have been worse - Watford missed a sitter before they got their first and we had a few other close shaves towards the end.

Coming away from the ground it felt like a defeat because of the the way it ended, but at least we're one point closer to Man City.

Precisely. If you're looking for villains from today, try our awful back four (especially El Kak and Fortune) and Jerome Thomas, who seemed to have started to believe his own press again. Making a scapegoat out of Lisbie misses the point.

Kish can't be blamed now, Hughes wasn't involved so SuperKev has to be the scapegoat!

Some fans can't cope without one!

Sounds like we were awful at the back.

2-2 aint the worst and hopefully we will have a decent back four for the next three crucial games - we have to win our home games AND BEAT CITEH!!

Don't forget to wactch the moon tonight

  • Its completely dumb to slate lisbie for missing a chance after coming on as a late sub.
Anyone scoring two goals at Watford sholud win the game but we did not because of a shite first half.

Agreed - he has hardly played in the last year or so ffs.
The fact is that Watford are rubbish at scoring and our rubbish back 4 let them do it twice in 20 minutes!

This is not an awful result and with citeh in freefall if we beat them and win some home games we can get out of this still.

Having seen Match Of The Day I think Holland's miss was worse.

Beat me to it Len, Holland's was a poor effort when a dink over the keeper would have sufficed

Having seen MOTD, I was thinking that Lisbie should've played the rebound across to Rommedahl (I think it was) who was free on the right of the area

Lisbie = waste of space tosspot. End of.

Agreed both Romm and I think Bent were free for the tap in. Lisbie's effort was woefull but then what do you expect from him, he's always been shite...
