Wood Turning.

Any other Lifers into turning bowls, spindles etc? I've had a go a few times before, but now I've bought a new lathe I'm hoping to have a good crack at it.

Any tips?

    I have a Myford ML8 (amongst other machinery), great hobby to do but can get a bit samey if you stick to making fruit bowls.
    I have the plans and quite a few parts of Welch spinning wheel my dad started, one day I will finish it. I'm into woodworking in a big way, I never get bored making bits and pieces.
