  • Never did it Henners. I've never given a monkeys about what I wear. I never paid more than 30 quid for a piece of clothing in my life (coats aside).

Fair enough but that must be some right cheap suits and proper shoes : - )

Never understand why men want to actually go into a shop any more. You get treated like s***, by s***s, who want to sell you s***ty looking gear that costs a s***load of money, and makes you look like every other s***head around. Apparently, this shop even makes you smell like s***.

Welcome to the 21st century. Let me introduce you to 'the internet'

But you said "men" so yeah for "men" the internet is great but......

Have you forgotten the teenage thrill of getting together enough money to buy that shirt or pair of shoes you really want and going out with your mates to get it/them?

Then walking out of the shop with a nice comfy cardie.

    Hope I die before I get old : - )

    So hurtful DM : - )

Very fashionable again I see from my trips to the high St. And all that young fogey stuff that is back in again. Knitwear and leather patches.

  • Footwear doesn't count - and suits are a work expense :)

I agree you can never spend too much on good shoes : - )

  • Haven't they clothes that fit a guy that calls himself after a 19th century actor?
  • Apple, superdry, hollister. 3 brands that sum up Britain at its comsumerjunkiest worst
  • Yeah - love it :)

Seriously though - I've never understood why men 'shop' for 'casual' clothes. Every polo shirt looks the fucking same. Some of them cost a tenner, some of them cost 100 quid, but they're all made in the same shithole sweatshops in Taiwan - someone, somewhere, is laughing extremely hard at people.

Bang on Leroy, Very little dfference in quality in them all.

  • Showing my age (and probably complete lack of fashion sense) But I've honestly never heard of hollisters. Sounds like a trendy bar to me................

Seems everyone under the age of 20 are wearing the cheap Ralph Lauren polos these days...
  • I went to the Ashford outlet a couple of weeks back. The Lacoste store there wanted £65 for a plain polo. Once again I walked out.
  • There's two in Hong Kong but they don't seem to follow the 'we employ fit birds only' rule. Disappointing.
  • Who is this Paul's boutique that's what I want to know must be a fooling Sheffield weds size massive boutique either that or everything is sold out as every single teenage girl I see walking down the rd has some item of clothing with his shop name printed all over it
  • Never heard of them, do they go up to 3XL? no, ok then...

£65?!! Pretty sure the Lacoste polos in House of Fraser are only £50.
  • The Ralph outlet at Ashford is constantly busy. Lot of day trippers
  • Went in to Hollister for the first time a few weeks ago. Being a short, fat bloke they don't really have anything for me but the darkness concealed a few sneaky glimpses at the fit birds working there without the wife seeing.
  • brilliant rizzo like the slyness of it all

I keep seeing that as well and it looks so shitty as well. The ultimate in cheap and tacky.

    I think it's a Beastie Boys album
  • Paul's boutique has to be up there with the brand of my youth naff naff... Those were the days. As for hollister I will be going there as I recently purchased a new hand gun From Indian elvis and need somewhere to hold it safe around my waist when I visit the job centre every Monday, good on bluewater for opening a gun supporting holder shop.
  • apparently any girl over the age of 18 that wears Pauls Boutique is 'game'
  • I thought you had to have chiselled cheek bones and be under 20 to shop at Hollister?

Every Hollister is the same. Awful dark shop that stinks.
