Perhaps its just press speculation but letting Dan Seaborne go out on loan to anyone at this present time would be madness, yes the ex Exeter player is yet to feature in the Premier League and his appearances have been limited to just the Capital One Cup this season, but with Saints woefully short of central defensive options and Jos Hooiveld only a yellow card away from a suspension it would be silly to narrow down our options in this department.
To be blunt Seaborne isnt up to Premier standards, looking back he struggled to get a game in our last season in League one and only made a handful of appearances in the Championship before the nightclub incident that came close to ending his career, meaning he is unproven above League One level, but at this moment in time Saints have to put their own needs before that of the player, by all means let him go in January assuming that we sign some quality central defenders, but before then it could be a gamble to leave ourselves short of cover in the centre.
Sky Sports understands Southampton defender Dan Seaborne is poised to join Bournemouth on loan.
Seaborne recently returned to Southampton after a successful spell on loan at Charlton.
The 25-year-old as found himself down the pecking order at St Mary's this season with the former Exeter man yet to feature in the Premier League.
Seaborne was on the bench for Wednesday's draw at Chelsea, but Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is willing to let him go out on loan again.
Bournemouth have moved quickly to lure Seaborne to Dean Court ahead of several Championship clubs.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is keen to bolster his defensive options and he has agreed a deal with South Coast rivals Southampton to take Seaborne on loan until the end of the season.

Couldn't help notice in the post above, that he wasn't a regular last season in the Champs for Southampton.
Extended but now on a week to week basis
