If kept fit, he's a real asset.0

He is doing well.0
-
Big if, but I really hope so.0
-
will he not be pushed out the team once kermo and fuller are fit though?0
-
hopefully he keeps fit so he can destroy millwall0
-
2 goals in 2 matches and too hot too handle.
He's the man with the shirt.
Well done, Haynesy!

"Destroy Millwall" that's a phrase I really like the sound of.addick82 said:hopefully he keeps fit so he can destroy millwall

Posted in the close season that he'd be a major asset this season if he can stay fit and get a run in the team.
Think for once I could be right!0 -
he's more than just a quick player. he had good control and can tackle. major asset if he stays fit. him and Fuller would scare any championship defence.0

I know he scores but perhaps needs to work on his finishing a bit, missed quite a few chances today though. Great performance mind, need to keep him fit. Not sure what to do once fuller can start as Hulse was excellent too0

Its nice for people to feel its gonna be a tough call who is going to be up front when all are fit rather than it being the same pairing week in week out and worrying about certain players will be back. Nice decision to be able to make for Chris. All are different kinds of strikers so really great to have options. And if they can stay confident who knows. Being a striker is a confidence game. Having good strikers around you should spur you on to do better in games when given an opportunity.
Haynes is so quick and would be great if he could stay fit. With a run could be a really good player this year.
Hulse is only til new year although i'd like to keep him for the rest of the season if possible. Useful addition, strong and scoring.
BWP is a goal scorer, but he needs to get some confidence back. You can't drop others for him if they are doing well but you know there are goals in him with the right partner.
Kermorgant is one of the most committed strikers i have seen at the club in years. Skillful, strong and can score.
Fuller although tries to do things on his own too much for my liking, but he does it because he can. Strong, quick for a big fella and scores all kinds of goals.
What a nice group of strikers to have in your squad.0 -
Would loved to have seen big Yann against Millwall at the rusty toolbox0
-
He's got more presence than BWP.0
-
The good thing is he got one. The more he plays the better his finishing will get so I reckon the misses will become fewer the longer he stays fitMike said:I know he scores but perhaps needs to work on his finishing a bit, missed quite a few chances today though. Compare our current crop of strikers with the pathetic bunch we got relegated with back in 2009?
What did we have then? Tresor Kandol on loan and Deon Burton on a free transfer.
The next year in League One we had Deon Burton and then after Christmas Akpo Sodje, David Mooney and Nicky Forster.
We now have PL quality strikers in Hulse and Fuller and good-class CCC strikers in BWP, Yann and Haynes.0 -
Read OA's post and thought of Kandol....remembr thinking he was ok when he played for us and looked at Wiki to find out where he was now.....
In October 2012 Kandol signed for Isthmian League Premier Division side Hampton and Richmond.
Oh dear!0 -
parky was quoted saying kandol would fire us back to the championship...wonder y he didn't sign permanently?0

Allways have rated Haynes !
Especially when on football manger he's banging them in for fun for me .0 -
Peter Reid tells a cracking story of trying to sign Kandol for Plymouth, he paid for Kandol's London-Plymouth train ticket, spoke to him on his mobile and Kandol told him he was on the train and would be arriving in one hour.....but never turned up at the station and never heard from him again!Athletico Charlton said:Read OA's post and thought of Kandol....remembr thinking he was ok when he played for us and looked at Wiki to find out where he was now.....

Apparently Plymouth had a one-year deal ready for him to sign and he just disappeared and nobody could contact him.0 -

Danny has brought real pace to the team for sure and is proving to be a welcome addition providing a new dimension to our play.
2 goals in 2 games ....betting he'll make it 3 from 3 next Saturday.
Met him at last season's Shirt Sponsors' Dinner - he's a lovely guy.
Keep 'em coming, Danno!0 -
You could say he got snuffed out then............candle.............I'll get my hot water bottle........... it's been a long day to Bristol and back.Ormiston Addick said:

It'll be a nice problem, deciding which of our in form strikers to leave out. In practice, having both Haynes and Fuller fit together at the same time might be a rare occurrence...0
-
Don't forget Clarke :-o he's on fire! 2 more Saturday for Scunny0
-
Think it is 4 in 4 starts now if you count Preston and Hartlepool0
-
We haven't had such pace in the forward line since super kev. There's nothing like pace to worry defenders and create openings. It's no coincidence that we have scored seven goals in the last two games with Haynes in the side.0
-
Is that 3 of his last 4 goals for us with his head? Johnny on the spot0

I was thinking this recently - my sister gave me her old xbox with fifa10. Playing with Charlton, it's amazing to think that we did as well as we did! Our strikers on the game are Burton, McLeod, Dickson and Tuna.Ormiston Addick said:Compare our current crop of strikers with the pathetic bunch we got relegated with back in 2009?
