CAFC tickets bought online

Just bought 6 tickets online for the Brighton game.

Got an email back worded to suggest the purchase had gone through. But the subject line of the email is 'Quote Acknowledgement'.

Have I actually purchased tickets or have I just got a quote?!

I always get emails with this in the subject line, quite confusing but the tickets have always arrived a couple of days later.

You've bought tickets. As Airman says the system is not the best but it does what it says on the tin and sells you tickets which you get pretty quickly and for the moment its the cheapest way to buy tickets from the club.
  • Cheers Damo - I'll leave it then. Not sure why the automated email needs to be ambiguous - very strange.

CWLC - thought I'd get a quicker response on here tbh. ;-)

  • Thanks Kap10 - I'm new to posting on the site - been a lurker for a few years but not fully up to speed with previous discussions, must have missed that one. Sounds about right though!
  • I'm shocked that you've all missed the point - on this of all sites.

    Erith - Belvedere - Abbey Wood - Plumstead - Woolwich Arsenal - Woolwich Dockyard - Charlton ....

But if you were a true Spotter you would realise that those initials are incorrect.

On national rail Erith is ERH and Belvedere is BVD etc etc.

Any true Charlton fan would know its CTN.

Imagine having to put that in everytime you log in??

I had to dumb it down - only allowed 20 characters in a username. ;-)
  • Perhaps the original poster is unwilling to make his spotter credentials too blatant .... and yes, logging in would be a nightmare !!
