  • Could have been deep snow here in Swanley if it had been cold enough. All we've had since 11am yesterday is rain. And more rain.

Lot's of pissed off staff in Ashford.

Woke up in Strood thinking "Aye aye, could be closed today", but as I headed out on the M20 it got less and less. By the time I got to my site for the day, just a grey, wet and depressing shithole as usual.  THEN  the learners turned up and it went downhill from there!
  • Been snowing quite heavily here in West Yorkshire all morning but it’s too wet to settle. We have an amber warning from 15:00 onwards with a prediction of 10 - 20cm this evening and overnight. We’ll see.

  • A lot of our snow in the North Cotswolds disappeared yesterday with the rain and then it snowed again overnight.
  • No snow in Tenerife. Just the 26 degrees 🙄

Now they're getting on, the Three Degrees need more members to produce the same vocals as before.
  • Starting to settle in Harpenden, double cold.
  • Snowing in Mottingham.
  • It wasn’t when I took the dog out this morning, so I was wearing shorts. 90 minutes later and I’m freezing.

Good, I fly out there on Saturday
  • Yep, had a small flurry in Bexley around 8:15
  • we had snow to in Dartford, but now it can’t make its mind up, rain then sleet, then snow then back to rain.
  • 3 inches where I am!!!!! 🥶
  • Sleety rain in Farningham but noticeably colder. Some hens came out and went back in
  • About 5cm overnight but already starting to thaw. Ground temperature at this time of year is still too warm for it to hang around I think.
  • Will Huddersfield and Burton be at risk?

It’s a couple of inches, I think they’ll get through it.
  • Huddersfield will have undersoil heating I assume

Same down here in Mereworth, my cock came out and went back in 😀

    ...open goal there....🤦‍♂️
  • Nothing in Bromley & wasn't expecting it either.

Unless we get a really cold snap then I dont expect any significant snow falls this winter. London as a whole seems to miss out a lot. Last time we had anything that settled & stayed around for more than 24 hours was the "Beast from the East" in Feb 2018 & before that in 2010/11.

Might as well use the sledges for firewood around here !
