    Apparently a cold dry front from Greenland pushed The Beast from the East out of the way, so a lightweight beast.

    only if you are outside ala Yeovil away, otherwise I completely disagree...........once inside the wind & rain hardly affect you unlike the cold does..........

    a relatively mild -11 here as well & I mean that - can quite easily be in the -20s & -30s this time of the year

    Loads of snow already for anyone heading to the Rockies to hit the slopes this year....
