Must be difficult running a business where your employees cant even get through the clients front door.DA9 said:
Company is owned by a JW, they either all come and work for him through contacts or convert later down the line, only 1 currently (out of 6/7) is non JW I thinksouthamptonaddick said:
Not really anything to do with it but is it legal to to only employ somebody based on there religion?DA9 said:Work in electrical wholesale, finish on 21st, back on 3rd Jan, as no sparks will be working, but as a key holder who lives 2 minutes from work (ingress park to Crossways) I can open up if a customer needs something in an emergency (One of our contractors is staffed by Jehovah's witnesseses only, strange but true)
Is that some form of racism?

I work all year round, last year i did a 12 hour dayshift at xmas, this year its only 8. This year i am working Boxing day too, I am working 7am-10am and then 6pm-11pm so i can drive from Basingstoke to see the game then go back to work. Every year its the same were at home boxing day (with the odd exception) and yet theres no public transport. Crazy, clubs should alternate Boxing and New year games every year. I am also working years eve, 3pm - 11pm, have fun0

I'm working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 12 hour day shifts and Boxing Day and 27th on 12 hour night shifts. My wife and kids will be at her parents for Christmas so I'll be on my own. We'll have a family Christmas meal when they return from the in-laws on 28th or 29th.0
