Has to be a free range black feathered bronze turkey

    Free range smoked ham

    Free range beef

The meat is very expensive in comparisons to where and what i buy normally

I dont expect much change out of 150 quid for the 3 bits

Does anyone else go to to a different butcher or alternative to the supermarket for this dinner

    We do, NLA.

Steve's in Joydens Wood - butcher to Dean Kiely when he lived locally.

Getting me own turkeys in for next year, along with chickens and quail. Got a few wild rabbit, pigeon and pheasant in me freezer and I think there's still a limp of boar in there too, don't get much more free range than that!

A Butcher is not just for Christmas! We frequent Steve's fine establishment on a regular basis. He's a great butcher and a great bloke - supports Charlton for a start.

He's a great supporter of charities as well.

What are you having for your Christmas diner? Traditional turkey? Goose? Quorn roast?

Its only me and the missus this year, so I'm ordering stuffed pintade tomorrow and salivating at the thought!

Pretentious Rob. Why don't you just say guinea fowl? I had to google it.

Woke up this morning, opened the fridge... What a pong! Our massive turkey had gone off. Luckily the butcher replaced it with an even bigger one. Got a couple of mates coming for dinner, but there is enough to feed about eight there...
