    Are any red division going?

    Hope so.

    Wrinkly Division going, Stu..

Seriously, hope the lads turn it on for us and especially for those who missed last season's match due to train probs.

Altogether now .." Jingle bells, jingle bells...."

I do hope we get to belt out a verse of that.

Arsenal have sold their 5000 allocation to Wigan. Will be interesting to see what other clubs take at this time of year. Hats off to anyone going.

Come to Sheffield DP , you know you want to!

  • I know theres lot of factors (mainly cost) & time but i couldn't help taking a glancing look around when at Bolton at the ages of people there , we need to get more under 30's to away games somehow , otherwise our away support will only get lower in number in the future , 3000 to Millwall &7000 to Fulham are great , but this is the bread & butter.

8 of us going, no match tickets yet so we can add a few to the total! Looking forward to several glasses of Christmas port with the chaps.

I don't intend to fall off my perch for some time, MIA !

Youngsters ( under 30's) may lack the cash to travel all over the country following the team whereas some of us oldies may be mortgage free and are able to take advantage of the concession prices offered.

We had to put our supporting on hold, both home & away from the mid 70's to late 80's due to finances & family commitments.

  • working saturday then some sort of xmas do thing going on so cant make it.
last year was great, so i hope the same for those going up north.

Can't wait. Should be a 3 points, cracking stadium and on my way home from uni for xmas
  • Sorry Fanny i'm pleased you get to so many games , good on yer! what concerns me is the lack of younger people coming through , maybe its something that can't be changed and just the way things are i don't know.

Maybe your right , younger people do not have as much disposable income , and are tied up paying rent / mortgages / bills / student loans! even more reason for the players to put a shift in for those that do / can go.

Surface water is bad in Sheffield - could be postponed.

  • Just contacted Wednesday, there is NO chance of a postponement. 3 points here we come!
  • there will 2 less, my cold/flu/germs have got the better of me, so I'll stay at home which will ensure our win, then I can grumble that we should have gone.

    COYA
  • 2 questions for anyone who knows the area... Any decent away pubs near the ground? Any bookies near/in the ground. Cheers
