I bought the first one but was really disappointed by it. The columns are a great read, but I'd hoped the book would offer more than it did. In truth the author smacks of entitlement despite his protests to the contrary, and lacks perspective. I'd hoped it was Danny Murphy because it would match what I know of him. Not sure I'll bother with the second one.
Of course what the Guardian should have done was get three authors and rotate randomly so there was no one secret footballer to identify.

It's like reading a crime novel and never finding out who done it.
