Yes gutted, but if its the other hamstring hopefully it isn't the worst news.
  • Options
Very unfortunate, we look so much more dangerous when he's up top.

Cant wait to see the goal - any online videos around??

That's why you don't play him twice in a week. You're a fool of a manager if you do. Could still go pear shape, but you need to protect your most important asset through winter. Just look how Jackett kept Henderson playing last season, until he got Kane and Keogh.

His goal was Sky's goals express goal of the day.

    Well done Danny.

It was so sad to see him in tears, stunning goal and he was doing so well and clearly enjoying himself. Life's cruel at times.

    wtf?
with all of the recent injuries and 3 losses on the spin you're a fool of a manager if you don't play your best XI - CAFC are fortunate in that we have many decent forwards
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery - on the upside it keeps him out of sight during the window as more performances like that first 1/2 hour would see someone throw a few million at us for him
know nothing about sports science but surely there is a way to train and warm up to avoid hamstring issues ?

Think you're on the wrong forum with comments like that. I respect your right to give your view, just as you will no doubt respect my view that you're talking absolute garbage.

Feel awful for Danny. Absolute wonder goal, he was running them ragged & then was gutted when I saw him pull up. Hope it isn't too bad & he's back soon.

As an aside on that pic, doesn't Bradley look like his Dad and is one of the backroom staff having a spliff?

Wow BWP a chip off the old block In that pic.

Wasn't it Ambrose who suffered from recurring hammy problems since before we bought him but finally got diagnosed as a hip problem and cured? I think he finally got fit but fell out of favour, got sold to stripeys and found his form. Great goal by Danny, gutted for him, hurry back. Perhaps we need to find that previous specialist that diagnosed Darren.

    Bless his cotton socks !

If that was Balotelli, he'd have been straight down the tunnel and booking his seat on the next plane home to "recuperate"

SO good to see how much our lads care .

I might be wrong in this one, but I'm pretty sure he's had a stop start career at all his clubs with regards to starts and injuries. At Ipswich he was mainly used as a sub due to his pace running at tired defenders. At Bristol and Barnsley he never really got a run in the side (allegedly due to attitude/settling). He clearly wants to be here with us, where he started, and seems to get on with everyone. He's playing very well and perhaps this is due to the backing from the management which he may not have had before? (Guessing due to his lack of a run in any side). Imagine what he could do if he was fit all year - a 1 in 2 man maybe?

I think that's Lawrence Bloom, isn't it? Fair play to him he probably needs a spliff with how stressful his job's been this season ;-)

His hamstrings are more like cheesestrings, was gutted for him when he trudged off. Was head and shoulders our best player in that dire first 20 mins or so. After that goal we were a different team and I'm sure Haynes would have bagged another if he was on the pitch. Hope he's not out for long. He's been exceptional this season.

That's Ben Roberts with the Spliff

Gutted about his injury. He's one of my fave players at the mo

Isn't Bradley his real son and Shaun is adopted?

Yep, Ian got together with Shaun's mum when Shaun was small and because of Ian's awful experiences with his step dad he decided to adopt Shaun pretty much immediately to show his love in a way he never got.
