While I welcome the price reduction, I wonder if this is in any way connected with the new Sky/Setanta TV deal?
The amount of money that is going to come flooding into football next season is incredible - £27m for finishing in last place, which is more or less the prize money that Man U will get for winning the EPL this year. If it means that Charlton can reduce season ticket prices a tad then it has to be good news and good that other teams are thinking the same way.
