GARY ONEILL

Did anyone else see west ham midfielder gary oneill being walked round by a couple of suited bods at the game today. Saw him having a picture taken with a couple of kids before going through the reception area.

    Would be a good signing imo but just hope this doesn't involve Solly going the other way!
  • With joe cole going to hammers perhaps it nudges him down the order.

    Injury prone but a very good player on his day. My Boro supporting mate still raves about him.

    Also - great spot CrazyChair!

    Wasn't the rumour in August that he was coming in part-ex for Chris Solly?

    As I said in another thread Solly not in squad (therefore not cup tied) read into it what you want!

    Yes it was, I still don't think Solly will leave this month though.

    I think he grew up in Beckenham. Hopefully not a Palace supporter.

    No its worse than that I think he is Millwall.
  • See him at the driving range in Bromley, decent guy, cracking golfer. Was down there with Dale and Matt Taylor.
  • He went to Ravensbourne school.

  • He is a Millwall Supporter and went school in Bromley. My mate lives next door to his Grandparents so will see if he can find anything.
  • proper good golfer, think he tried to make it onto the pro scene at some stage. Asked to play through my group at the London Club. Couldnt say no really as he put his tee shot 10ft from me....no etiquette

    Has played for West Ham as recently as Norwich on NYD. Can't see it myself.
  • Didn't joe cole play and score against them the other week

    GON was on the bench for that game I can see it tbh

    He got a few sponsor invites to EuroPro tour events in the close season. Not a bad life, pro golf events in the summer, pro footballer for the rest of the year.

    @Uboat - No, Gary does
    @Off_it - I meant Dale Stephens

    Why come to our game rather than Upton Park,if there is nothing in it?

    W Ham kicked off at 5.15 - IF he was at our game he could have left during the 2nd half and still got to Upton Pk for k/o.
