    I wish they'd just said at the start of January "we aren't getting anyone in so don't get excited". Then I could have avoided getting all excited for nothing instead of ruining several perfectly good pairs of underpants.

    Maybe he won't go to Ipswich and we'll pick him up in the Summer. Seems little point in doing business now, given our league position and this is not the best window to get good deals as too many clubs are desperate. You'd think we'd need to bring somebody in if we lost a key player, but that doesn't seem to have happened.....YET!

    Exactly what I think is happening with Colchester putting out stories about how his move to Ipswich is edging closer and closer, trying to tease us into a last gasp bid of 100k+.

    Of course, that could all be rubbish. Ipswich are apparently looking for left mid as well.

    I suspect he would prefer a move here mainly because we are a London club and he is from Camden,the fact he has followed us on Twitter a couple of times seems to suggest this.Maybe he is hanging on to the hope we will come in at the last minute if possibly we are waiting for one to go out to counter balance his incoming.

    SCP did not completely rule out a move for him but suggested something could happen in the summer rather than now.

    Since then the price has now dropped dramatically to £100k because Colchester want to recoup something and realise this is their last chance,let's see what happens.

    One way or another we will know after tomorrow.

    my feeling is he will sign. Col U might well have been offered 100k but if he doesn't want to go to Ipswich but wants to join us then at the end of the day they will take our, let's say, 50k as it is 50k more than they will get in the summer. Judge will sign as well imo.

    A league 1 team 'should' move on Green and/or BWP because both proven at that level. But, it's all about money. Depends what we want and what they can pay.

    As it happens IMHO no we don't have any money and no we won't be signing anyone unless we sell/loan first but that was true a long time ago.

    Wait until 8 Feb and there might be a loan or two. But don't hold your breath

    It doesn't. We never wanted the guy. I'm sure there are actual targets we have missed out on because we don't have the cash, but Wordsworth is not one.
