Ticket Prices

I have had a look at the tickets prices for the Premier league and was a little shocked at the admission prices. I really do believe that the powers that be, should look at how much the tickets are for away fans. I think the prices are to high when you consider the additional expenses of travelling further distances, food etc.
Most clubs have a Match category system so I have put us in the B Catogory. I realise that the London clubs would put us in the Cat A bracket and you would pay £55 to go to QPR!!!!

Now if you were to attend every away game in the Cat B bracket it would cost you a grand total of £790.50

I haven't been to as many away games this season, due to money being tight, but at the prices below I don't think I would be attending that many in the Premier League. I think that £35 is the max I would want to pay, therefore I would be going to
Reading, Sunderland, Swansea and Wigan.

Not sure we'd be a category A game for any premier league team ?

    London derbies I would think

I paid £21 to stand behind the goal at Brentford yesterday. It was a good game but £21 is far too much.

Fulham, West Ham & QPR are Cat B at Arsenal so imagine we would be too.

To be fair the prices at Arsenal are quite decent apart from category A.

    So did I!

Football to me is a hobby and not a lifestyle/obsession. I wouldn't go to most of those grounds as I have other things to spend my money on which are more important.

I wouldn't go to villa on principle of being classed VV.

You only have to look at the prices charged to attend American sports to see where we are heading.

I thought American sports were cheap. I am sure my brother attended baseball and said it was o
    only a tenner

Baseball is by the cheapest as there are lots of seating options (restricted view, nosebleed height etc) but even a ticket to a shite NHL team will set you back 70 quid for a half decent seat

not true, croydon ive been to loads of nhl and 30-40quid gets you a decent view in mo

The prices will stay high until Fifa decide to put a cap on players wages which seems very unlikely.

If we're not the loweest category for most outside of london I'd be surprised

I had decent seats(freebies to me) at a NHL game in New York and they were around £130 face value

lol, if we're giving IQ tests for the opposition fans then maybe?

Levy was a cheeky bugger making West Ham Cat A this year. That was a first. They've always been Cat B before.
